Arkivet for Jernbaner har modtaget denne mail fra Richard Löv. Jeg håber at der er nogen i herreværelset der er i stand til at hjælpe.

Dear Madams and Sirs,

i am looking for informations for 2022 about 150 years railway Metzingen – Urach for the railwayinfrastructure-company ENAG (Eisenbahninfrastrukturunternehmen Erms-Neckar Bahn AG, https://www.erms-neckar-bahn.de/ )

during my search about informations of this 150 years i got the information, that 1 lokomotion, the number 3, was planned for the Ermstalbahn, was built in 1873, but was sold in 1874 to Denmark. Numbered in H64 in 1876, in Hs364 in 1893 from the DSB and sold 1933 for 4.500 kr. to the sugarfabric in Gorlev as DdS GS7. Set out of order there in 1939.

Please forgive me, if i’m not at the right place for to ask, but i dont be able to read, speak or write dansk. So i try it in english.

What would be interresting for me is the small time between 1873 and the shipping term 14th of february 1874 to denmark. Was this locomotion nr. 3 working short time at the Ermstalbahn or came the locomotion direct in 1874 from the Maschinenfabrik Esslingen to Denmark? I can not imagine, that this locomotion got a photopainting for the Ermstalbahn (01), a workpainting for her (02), again a photopainting for Denmark (05) and then once more a workingpainting in black for Denmark.

Added you can see some pictures of this locomotion and some more parts of the internetsite i had opened:

01 nr. 3 in photo-painting grey (for the Ermstalbahn?)

02 nr. 3 in workpainting black (for the Ermstalbahn?)

03 details of this locomotion

04 list of the ordered locomotions, the thick ink-stripe goes from nr. 1309 to 1311 for the Ermstalbahn, but under the 1310 is a small line of a pencil, and at the nr. 1311 is standing „Seeland“ and „64 Hugin“

05 shows nr. 3 again in photopainting in grey, but left down stands SJS H64, 1873 name and marking for work in Denmark

06 description nr. 3 to denmark in 1874

There are no documents from this time to find, so one will say, that the nr. 3 came to the Ermstalbahn and stayed there long time. Other say, the nr. 3 came to the Ermstalbahn in 1873 and then to Denmark 1874, what will be right?

Another think could be, that the nr. 3 came directly in 1874 from the Maschinenfabrik Esslingen to Denmark and at no time in between to the Ermstalbahn.

Maybe you are able to give me here more informations, if you have papers or documents or photos in your archive from that time?

It would be nice to get an answer of you.

Thank for your trouble and have a good week.

Kind regards,

Mit freundlichen Grüßen
