Yes Morten - as shown in the court records, he embezelled from his employer, a lawyer, which resulted in his being transported to Australia for seven years. Since he was a skilled administrator, he was put to work in the offices of the regional government. I did not find any evidence that he embezelled in Australia, or after his return to England.
